Critics Corner is our members-only series that invites movie lovers to step outside their comfort zone! Participants receive a free ticket to a selected film and share a short review afterward. Selected reviews will be featured on our Critics Corner display — join the conversation and discover something new!

How it works:

Become a Varsity Cinema member!

Redeem your free ticket in person. Let our staff know that you are a member and are participating in Critics Corner.

From there, you can reserve your seat and receive your review card.

Watch the movie and fill out a quick review card after the movie.

We’ll select standout reviews to showcase in the lobby!
